The restaurant offers the very best of modern British/Scottish/European cuisine with ingredients sourced from leading local Scottish suppliers. Applicants must have experience in multi rosette standard kitchens as either Commis or Chef de Partie.   
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a privately owned luxury hotel and the owners have a very good reputation for developing and looking after its staff members.  It is worth noting however that the hotel is fairly remote and will only suit applicants who are happy to work in a country side location.

Our client seeks an enthusiastic Chef de Partie for their small 1 rosette kitchen situated in a peaceful Gwent countryside location.
 
This is an excellent opportunity and an environment in which a hungry and eager to learn Chef de Partie can develop their culinary skills and knowledge. The successful candidate will work closely alongside a talented Head Chef who is focused and dedicated in nurturing food passionate people.
 
In order to be considered you will need to have worked to at least Demi Chef de Partie level in a quality all fresh food operation, ideally to 1 rosette standard. The salary is up to £16,000 depending upon experience and also comes with free accommodation (self contained flat).

This is an excellent opportunity to join this privately owned company which is firmly focused on establishing themselves as one of the finest eateries in the area. It is anticipated that the kitchen will achieve accolades within the first year and will then continue to push the status quo.

As Sous Chef you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in running this high quality, all fresh food kitchen. This will involve the day to day running of the kitchen operation along with supervising and developing the brigade - all whilst maintaining the required standards expected.
 
Suitable candidates will have had previous experience at Sous Chef level within a similar top end environment i.e. All fresh - to 2 rosette standard. We are looking for someone of strong character, yet friendly and approachable - a solid team player who can help enthuse and develop this close-knit and focused brigade.
 
The salary is between £22,000 to £25,000 depending upon experience and also comes with accommodation if required. The accommodation, like the pub has been renovated to a high standard - definitely not the normal staff accommodation one would normally expect.
